About the Golden Heart Group

The Golden Heart Group was founded in 1993 as an interfaith meditation group. The group has branched out into community service and in 1995 began sponsoring the annual Golden Heart Awards Banquet. The Banquet is an event which honors the unsung heroes of the community. The award winners may be volunteers or employees from all walks of life. The purpose of the banquet is to inspire the community to follow in the footsteps of those who selflessly serve. Another goal is the unity of all people in the community.
